The Singer Songwriter Class
Play. Create. Sing. Write. Perform. Experiment. In this class, students will develop valuable skills in creating new, original music in a supportive Music environment. In the process of writing their music, students will learn theory, song structure, music production, and performance skills. Students will leave this class with valuable self-confidence and the ability to express themselves through Music.
When: Wednesdays from 1:45-2:45 pm
Where: Claremont, CA
Who: Students ages 10-14.
This is a small group class with a limit of 10 students maximum per class.
Students do not need prior experience in singing/songwriting to attend this class, and the instructor will scaffold learning for all skill-levels.
All materials will be provided.
*Note: Parents are welcome to stay and observe their children during class, but are also welcome to drop-off and pick-up their children as well.

About Your Instructor
Anamaria De La Cruz is a singer, songwriter, educator and producer. She is an honors graduate of Yale University with degrees in History and Ethnicity, Race and Migration.
She holds an MA in Music and is a credentialed CA educator with over 20 years of experience in the fields of Education and Music, with experience teaching students of all ages.
