The Singer-Songwriter Class
This class is for students ages 10-14.
This class meets weekly on Wednesdays from 1:40-2:40 pm in Claremont, CA.
This is a small group class with a limit of 12 students maximum per class.
Students will work together to write original music and lyrics, and learn music theory, songwriting, and vocal performance skills.
Students do not need prior experience in singing/songwriting to attend this class, and the instructor will scaffold learning for all skill-levels.
In developing their singing/songwriting skills, students will gain valuable self-confidence, self-expression and performance skills.
All materials will be provided.
*Note: Parents are welcome to stay and observe their children during class, but are also welcome to drop-off and pick-up their children as well.
Sound Healing Classes
This class is for adults 18 years and older, and will be limited to 12 adult participants per class.
This class will meet on Mondays from 11-11:45 AM.
In this class, the instructor will lead participants in sound healing (utilizing 7 chakra-tuned Crystal singing bowls) paired with guided breathwork.
Sound healing has been shown to improve well-being and sleep and alleviate anxiety, stress, and physical pain.
About Your Instructor
Anamaria De La Cruz is a singer, songwriter, educator and producer. She is an honors graduate of Yale University with degrees in History and Ethnicity, Race and Migration.
She holds an MA in Music and is a credentialed CA educator with over 20 years of experience in the fields of Education and Music, with experience teaching students of all ages.
